Our last long weekend for a while..

Our last long weekend for a while..

Our last long weekend for a few long months is coming up soon.. where will you be?

Here are a few ideas to get you thinking about your June long weekend plans…

Run Forret Fun Run on Great Ocean Road

Plan a leisurely long weekend of cafe hopping

Start with a cafe latte (your choice of dairy, soy, almond or coconut milk) at Onda Foodhouse in Aireys Inlet. Walk up to the Split Point Lighthouse for another pit stop at Willows Tea House – the scones, jam and cream are pretty good here 😉

After all that walking and if you are feeling peckish drop into Little Feast Aireys Inlet for some great share plates, seafood and cocktails.

Do a long hike

The Surf Coast Walk is beautiful and long (44 km) but there are other long walk options around. Check out our previous post on great hikes near Tall Trees Camping.

The Grampians has some of the most amazing long hikes and beautiful scenery. The Grampians Peaks Trail is a new hike and is worth checking out. Closer to Melbourne you can’t go past Werribee Gorge State Park.
